Cancer starts when one cell begins to multiply out of control. It forms a lump that can invade healthy tissues and spread to other parts of healthy body. But this deasease can often be prevented before it occurs, and when it occurs it can be stopped. In U.S., 35% to 60% of cases of cancer are the effect of bad diet. In 30% it's caused by tobacco. Other causes of this deadly disease are air and water pollution, alcohol, radiation and medications.

By changing your diet you can prevent the occurance of cancer. By eating vitamin-rich vegetables and froots you can boost your immune system, which helps to fight cancer cells. Fiber, which is contained mostly in legumes, grains, vegetables and fruits helps the body dispose of excess estrogen and in the end helps to knock out cancer cells. Phytochemicals, which are cancer-fighting substances are mostly contained in plant foods.

Change your diet to diet rich in antioxidants. Eat foods that are rich in vitamin C. Increase the intake of vitamin B, which is found in dark green leafy vegetables, fruits, peas, and beans. Consume carrots, winter squash, spinach, and kale, which are rich in beta-carotene. Reduce your intake of all fats and oils.

Restrict the intake of animal products in your diet. Animal products and other fatty foods are frequently found to increase increase the risk of cancer. The best idea would to switch your diet to vegeterian diet. Try these new four food groups and discover healthier you: vegetables (4 or more servings a day), whole grains (5 or more servings a day), fruits (3 or more servings a day), legumes (2 or more servings a day).

These foods not only prevent cancer but also help survive for those who already have cancer. Never give up, search the internet for more information about how to prevent and survive cancer. Many people survived this disease by applying strict restrictions to their diets, so can you.
